How to make flatbreads with stuffed cheese

Bored at home because of covid-19. How about a cheezy dish of flatbreads.

It’s simple to make and it’s really delicious.

Here’s how we start.

You’ll need

·     500g of all-purpose wheat flour

·     250g full-fat yogurt

·     3 eggs

·     ¼ tsp baking powder

·     250g feta cheese & Mozzarella cheese

·     150g butter

·     Salt

Serves 4

1.              Sift the flour into a bowl and make a well in the center. Add the yogurt, 1 egg, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Kneed well until smooth, add water if necessary. Form into a ball and leave to rest in room temperature for 30 minutes.

2.              Cut the feta and mozzarella cheese into small pieces and crush with a fork. Add the rest of the eggs and combine with the cheese. Keep aside.

3.              Divide the flat bread dough into 4 portions. Roll each portion to small ball and roll out into small circles. Spread the cheese mixture over each of the circles. Fold the dough over the cheese. Press the edges together firmly. Carefully flatten the dough pockets.

4.              Melt a little butter in a heavy skillet and fry the flat breads on both sides over medium heat until golden one-by-one. Remove from skillet and brush with butter and serve warm.

Your delicious flat-breads are ready.

Bon appetite 👌
